Fremont police respond to multiple incidents of dogs left in dangerously hot cars

At 1:08 p.m., Animal Services transported a dog that had been shut inside a vehicle parked at Costco to a local vet for evaluation.

Wednesday June 11: FREMONT – The Fremont Police Department’s Animal Services and Patrol responded to 4 incidents of dogs left in warm vehicles throughout the day on Mon police said.

At 11:50 in the morning dogs were left inside an not attended car> on Country Avenue, according to the Fremont Police Department. The temperature inside the car> was 110.6 degrees, police said.

At 1:08 in the afternoon Animal Services transported a dog that had been shut inside a car> parked at Costco to a local vet for evaluation. The temperature in the car after all the doors had been opened was over 104 degrees, police said.
